Winter Tales
Storytelling for the Season – Family event
Join storyteller Dougie Mackay for an afternoon of winter-themed stories in the magical setting of the Lady Chapel. Suitable for a family audience (ages 4 and upwards).
Enjoy a cozy hot chocolate in the coffee shop afterwards – included in the ticket price!

A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol: Performances
Captivate Theatre & Perfect Forth present a new adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Sally Lyall blending the classic Christmas tale with a cappella traditional carols such as O' Holy Night, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Silent Night and many more arranged by Colum Findlay.
Christmas Candlelit Visits
Enjoy the magical atmosphere of an evening Christmas visit to Rosslyn Chapel by candlelight.
You can find out more about this amazing building when one of the Chapel's Guides gives a short talk about its rich history and then you can explore for yourself, using your map to find the main points of interest and key carvings.
The visitor centre and shop will also be open for some Christmas shopping opportunities and a free guidebook for each visiting household.
Numbers are restricted to just 30 people.

Concerts
Two chances this year to hear beautiful Christmas music by candlelight at the Chapel!
Saturday 21 December: join the Castle Chorus to celebrate Christmas and the Winter Solstice with songs from all over the world.
Saturday 28 December: celebrate the season with the village of Roslin’s own community choir.
Christmas Church Services
The Chapel is a working church and part of the Scottish Episcopal Church. Visitors are welcome at Sunday morning services, starting at 10.30am, throughout Advent and Christmas.
Services for Christmas will be:
- Christmas Eve Tuesday 24th December - Journey to Bethlehem - Experiencing the Christmas Story "for real!" Suitable for children and families with crafts, characters, music and fun.
- Christmas Eve Tuesday 24th December - 11.30 pm Midnight Mass
- Christmas Day Wednesday 25th December -10.00 am Family service
As always, visitors are welcome to all our services.
