A perfect family event, telling the enchanting tale of how William the Cat rescued Rosslyn Chapel from disaster. Through a unique mix of storytelling and live music, the Countess of Rosslyn’s popular story is brought to life, with the help of a clarinet, flute, violin, trombone, medieval shawm and a multitude of harps!

After a short interval, we will find ourselves in “Trouble in the Magic Forest”, but not to worry, the green men, angels and dragons of Rosslyn Chapel will work together to save their beautiful home. Perhaps we might even call upon you to help them. A delightful evening bringing the carvings of Rosslyn Chapel to life through story, image, music and imagination.

Hannah Haynes is a harpist, harp teacher, and composer based in Scotland. She composes tunes as a way of communicating: she likes to think that she can tell stories and paint pictures through her music. The friendly community that is the harp school ranges in age from primary school age players through to retired people. They are also delighted on this occasion to welcome many other talented local musicians to join them in their merry music-making.
