Chapel preparing for History Festival
November 10, 2013
For the first time, Rosslyn Chapel is participating in ‘Previously….’, Scotland’s History Festival, and tickets are now available for a special events at the Chapel, from the festival’s programme.
On Saturday 23rd November, medieval instrumentalist Jim Tribble was due to let visitors hear the sounds and discover more about the fascinating instruments which would have been played at the time when the Chapel was built, but this event has unfortunately been postponed due to illness.
A candle lit tour will brighten up the evening of Friday 29th November, when a costumed character guide shares some of the history, myths and legends of the Chapel, followed by refreshments in the Visitor Centre. Tickets are £10 for adults/ £7 for concessions and can be booked through our website here, by contacting community@rosslynchapel.com or calling 0131 440 2159.
