Give a gift of a 15th century day out!
November 28, 2012
If you are looking for a Christmas present for someone who enjoys history, architecture, or just a good day out, the gift of a visit to Midlothian’s iconic Rosslyn Chapel could be the answer.
Gift vouchers, providing a visit to the 15th century Chapel, are now available for sale on our website (click here). The voucher provides admission for 2 adults (accompanied children are free), a copy of the souvenir guidebook and coffee and cakes for 2 people, and is valid for use within a year of being bought.
The Chapel’s ‘Festive Fridays’ activities continue on 14th and 21st December, with further Christmas craft and storytelling events, begining at 1pm. On Sunday 16th December, the Chapel will host an evening of readings and carols, ‘Christmas by Candlelight’ accompanied by the MacTaggart Scott Loanhead Band. Details of further services are also on our website.
The Chapel and Visitor Centre are open to visitors over the winter, but will be closed on 24th and 25th December. They will reopen with a Boxing Day treasure hunt, when visitors can follow a trail of clues and questions to try and win a prize. The site then closes on 31st December and 1st January, before reopening on 2nd January.
