Visitors can now see the stone carvings in key areas of the Chapel in a new light.

Work has been completed to refurbish lighting in The Lady Chapel, the most ornate area of the Chapel, and in the Sacristy making it easier to see the details there. The refurbishment work was carried out by Stoane Lighting of Loanhead.

Among the many carvings in The Lady Chapel are the ‘dance of death’, the nativity,  angels playing musical instruments and some of the best known ‘green men’.
