Explore The Visitor Centre
The visitor centre, which is the arrival point for all visitors, was designed by Page\\Park and officially opened by HRH The Duchess of Rothesay in May 2012. The layout of the centre is based on the Chapel itself, with its high ceiling and pillars of wood rather than stone.
The visitor centre contains interpretation about the building of the Chapel, including touch-screens based on high quality laser scanning of the interior, innovative storytelling hoods and a new dressing up area has been added to give a further taste of Medieval life.
The visitor centre contains a coffee shop, with wonderful views over Roslin Glen and gift shop, with many of the gifts and souvenirs unique to Rosslyn Chapel. All purchases support the Chapel's long-term conservation.
